Sometimes the best solutions come from simple ideas. American Powertrain is Tremec’s biggest seller, and because of that, physically moves a whole lot of manual transmissions. In that process, the crew at American Powertrain found the cap that most everyone uses to protect the output shaft seal didn’t do much in way of sealing in fluid.

Equally, during installation, customers complained about needing the yoke installed to spin the transmission itself to index the splines into the clutch.
