Recently, Edelbrock has come out with the Pro-Flo 4 Electronic Fuel Injection system. The Edelbrock Fuel Injection systems date as far back as 1979, and this new product is a vast improvement. The Pro-Flo 4 is precisely engineered for fuel efficiency, and is much more superior than a traditional throttle body. Injectors are placed towards the bottom of the manifold, at the back of the intake valve, producing an improved efficiency, and better control over the performance of the engine.
Included is a new and improved ECU system that is equipped with a faster processor than the previous model, and is water-resistant. The new tuning software is available on GooglePlay as a free app, which means that the EFI system can be tuned, simply by using the Bluetooth on a smartphone. The app allows control over air fuel ratios, base timing, idle tuning, acceleration of fuel, control over cooling fans, and rev limiting. This allows the engine to be tuned, without the use of a dyno.
As an added bonus, Edelbrock also included control over acceleration, and monitoring of cold starting.
