Up here in Canada, car shows have been almost non-existent since the beginning of Covid. Over the winter, we look forward to summer time rolling around and car shows beginning. However, with the pandemic going strong, the summer of 2020 became a total wash with absolutely no car shows happening locally to us; for understandable reasons. Throughout this last winter, we remained optimistic that we’d finally have somewhat of a car show season in 2021!
While most car shows unfortunately weren’t able to happen this summer, a few managed to get organized and going much to our delight! Although our big local Mopar show got cancelled, our good friends at Abbotsford Chrysler in Abbotsford, British Columbia managed to arrange and host a big Mopar show at their dealership last month.
On the day of the show, the sun was shining and a whole bunch of beautiful Mopars came out in high numbers! From what we heard, over 100 cars attended of all types; both classic and modern! This was Abbotsford’s Chrysler 3rd Annual Mopar show (the last being two years ago) and all proceeds went to charity!
We decided to bring our ’71 Charger R/T to the show and drove it over 300 miles each way to the show. After all, they’re meant to be driven! We sincerely thank Abbotsford Chrysler for hosting the show and can’t wait for the next!
