Massive Mopar Collection Going Up For Auction In August

A death in the Mopar community is never a good thing. If you didn’t know, the world lost a great man named Ben Snobar back on November 11th, 2016. Ben was a huge part of the Mopar community; both because of his deep knowledge of everything Mopar and also because of his company and website; Shakerhood.com. If you needed something for a Shaker or Air Grabber hood, Ben was the guy to see. Since his passing, the Mopar community hasn’t been quite the same and Ben will forever be deeply missed.

After his passing, Tom over at Rocket Restorations in Shelton, Washington spoke to the Snobar family and decided to take over the running of the website so that Shakerhood.com would remain the go to place for everything Shaker and Air Grabber going ahead in the future.

If you didn’t know of Ben’s collection, he had a lot of very cool cars. Everything from PT Cruisers to a 1971 Demon to multiple 1970 Challengers; Ben collected it all. In our opinions, the coolest car in the auction that is sure to draw attention is Ben’s red 1970 Hemi Charger R/T sunroof car. Yes, you read that right Hemi and a sunroof. This auction is sure to be one you won’t want to miss. We sincerely hope the cars end up in good long term homes. We’ve included a list of the cars below. There are some cool non-Mopar vehicles being auctioned but we’re just listing the Mopar ones. There is also a TON of very hard to find Mopar parts as well. Car Feature Editor – cody.krueger@shawgroupmedia.com Since the age of 4, Cody has been obsessed with everything Mopar. On Christmas of 1998, Cody's parents gave him a rusty '69 Charger shell that his father saved from a field. Cody's garage still features that '69 Charger as well as the additions of a '71 Charger R/T, '71 Super Bee, '73 Duster, '08 Challenger SRT8 and a '13 Ram 3500. Cody can truly and proudly say that he is a true Mopar nut in love with all types of Mopars!
