Directly Connected Becomes Mopar Connection Magazine

MCM1

While many are looking to “reinvent” themselves for the New Year with resolutions to lose weight or maybe picking up a new sport or hobby, or finally finding that “certain someone special,” the industry’s fastest-growing Mopar enthusiast magazine – Directly Connected Magazine – is undergoing some very exciting changes that will last well beyond this year and carry us into the future.

Shortly after the 2015 Mopar Nationals, we got into contact with MOPAR (primarily to make sure that FCA wouldn’t be siccing their lawyers on us). After several months of lengthy conversations with lots of folks who make a lot more money than us, Directly Connected Magazine was given Ma’ Mopar’s blessing. That is, with one small catch…

Because we work so hard to honor the muscle cars of the ‘60s and ’70s and today’s modern machines, Mopar was very interested in us giving the magazine a “fresher” name and look so that readers might associate us with all generations of Mopars. Again, we penitently knelt at the corporate footstool and returned as Mopar Connection Magazine  – and the only publication of its type to be recognized and officially licensed through MOPAR.

As the fastest-growing digital magazine for MOPAR enthusiasts, Mopar Connection Magazine will continue to deliver the latest industry news, car features, nationwide events, and real world tech that defines what it means to be a MOPAR lover. And as before, Mopar Connection Magazine will continue to publish, Monday-through-Friday, requiring no sign-ins, apps, downloads, or passwords to access our subscription-free content, making us the single-most accessible MOPAR magazine in the industry.

Yes, you’re still going to see some old articles with the Directly Connected logo, or even mentioning the name here and there. While backtracking through a few thousand pictures to swap out the watermark probably ain’t going to happen, you can know that going forward, Mopar Connection will bring you the same level of magazine-quality content you’ve come to expect. We’re incredibly excited to be the only digital magazine of this type to be officially licensed through MOPAR and very lucky to be joined by all of you!

Keep ’em rollin’
