Holley Rolls Out Mopar ’73-’76 A-body Gen3 Hemi Swap Systems

Looking to put a new Gen3 Hemi in your ’73-’76 A-body Mopar? Well Holley is making it easier than ever with a complete swap system kit. Holley with help from Hooker Blackheart and White Box offer bolt in brackets for 5.7, 6.1, and 6.4 Hemi engines. These brackets bolt right to the motor and to your factory K-member. You can guarantee the engine will set in the right position with plenty of clearance from the firewall.

Along with engine brackets, there are also transmission brackets available for Tremec 5-speed, 727 automatic, or NAG1 transmissions with accommodations for future transmissions.  Save time getting everything lined up the first time with these very affordable brackets with little to no modifications to the tunnel. High tuck design to maximize ground and exhaust clearance. The brackets come in powder coated black or a natural finish. Welded up of 3/16 heavy duty steel so they will hold the power.

Hooker Blackheart headers are part of the Gen3 Hemi swap system that works with the engine mounts and transmission crossmember. BH23104 headers will make your 1973 -1976 Mopar A-Body Gen3 Hemi swap easier than ever. These headers can used with either driver or passenger side starters, and the starter can be installed without removing the headers.

Headers are designed for a simple installation that provides the most ground clearance possible, and clears the OE torsion bar front suspension. The 304 stainless steel headers are hand welded with 1-3/4” 18-gauge steel. Exhaust bolts up to a two-bolt 3/8″ thick flanges with 2.5” collectors with O2 bungs on either side will work with EFI.

On some cars there is a tight fit around the frame rails for alternator and if you’re running an a/c compressor there can be clearance problem with a factory K-member. So, Holley designed the mid-mount system that comes with everything you need, so no cutting or modifying the body.

The mid mount kit brings all the accessories in closer to keep an OE clean look. All accessories are included such as the water pump, A/C compressor, Alternator, P/S pump with reservoir, and the crank damper.

All pulleys and the belt are supplied. Even heater hose adapters, power steering to -6 AN hardline, and the alternator plug/harness are included. Easy assembly was a priority during the entire development of this accessory solution. The kit comes in black or cast for VVT engines and non-VVT engines. Using this kit also eliminates the charging problem, by using the Holley Premium 150 Amp alternator charging is not done by an ECM.

Holley has really stepped up the game with the Gen3 Hemi. With just these 3 kits you can swap in a Hemi. Add Holley’s oil pan and Terminator-x system, you could have your ride done in a matter of days with the power and reliably of today’s cars. Call Holley today or stop in at Holley’s Moparty event September 16-18th to see a seminar on how easy it is to do a Hemi swap.
