Get more power out of your Hemi swap with Holley’s new smart coils. Holley EFI Smart Coils are a bolt-in ignition upgrade for your Gen3 Hemi swap. The difference between factory coils and these coils is that these produce more spark energy while consuming less power, putting less strain on the charging system.  The alternator won’t have to work as hard to keep your lights bright, fuel pumps powered, and computers on. The motor won’t have to work as hard to turn the alternator, and less of a load demanded from the alternator will give you more power and more mileage from your motor, and with high gas prices now you want to be sure none of it goes to waste.

With a hotter spark at the plug to burn the maximum amount of fuel in each cylinder also will help with power and mileage. These coils work great in street or race applications, and can handle up to 3,000 horsepower (no, really). The Holley smart coils are for Hemi combinations currently using Holley EFI, Terminator X, and many other aftermarket ECU’S. Same wiring pinout as other IGN-1A coils for easy plugin upgrades. Use Smart Coil Ignition Harnesses 558-312 & Coil Extension Harnesses 558-326 for a plug and play solution. Ignitors are no longer needed in the wiring harness using these coils because they have built in ignitors. The coils are easy to install, just unplug, remove 2 bolts, pull the old coil out, and install in the reverse order. They stay in the factory location and give a clean look.
