Holley’s Moparty Motors In To Bowling Green This September 17-19

The second annual MoParty, presented by Holley, will be back at the Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky September 17 – 19.

Well on its way to becoming one of the premier Mopar gatherings in the country, last year’s inaugural get-together was a huge success. And it’s much more than just a car show.

This year’s itinerary includes activities such as drag racing, autocross, show-n-shine, swap meet, burnout contest, a mobile dyno, and more. Holley will also be crowning a Grand Champion with a $1,000 cash payout.

Participants will have to compete in the drag race, autocross, and 3S (speed, steering, stop) challenge to qualify. The competitor that comes out with the most combined points will be MoParty’s king or queen of the late model, vintage, or truck class.

Mr. Gasket’s mullet contest is sure to crown another king as ruler of the truly radical. The best real, fake, trashy, and young mullets are going to be eligible. A list of specially-featured cars includes a group of Mr. Norm’s creations, the K&K Insurance Daytona, and the Hurst Hemi Under Glass. Even the good General Lee himself will be back for another high-flying display of airborne acrobatics.

Participants can preregister and find hotel information online at moparty.com. Spectator tickets are $20 per day, but be sure to check out the activity packs as well. Along with admission, these packs offer up entry for a variety of events. You’d better start mulling over that mullet now.
