Holley’s New Plug-and-Play EFI Harness for Gen III Hemis

news_HEMIengine

For whatever reason, there’s been a bit of a slow adaptation for late-model Hemi conversions in classic Mopars. We’ve all seen some gorgeous cars with sweet modern Hemi engines between the fenders and it’s safe to say that most of us at one time or another have even considered a new 5.7L or 392 powering our vintage machine. So what has held us up? Cost primarily, as Gen III Hemis still fetch quite the price tag when compared to GM’s LS motors or even Ford’s 5.0L Coyotes. But the other has been simple adaptation. The new motors make it almost impossible to run in a stripped down, frills-free machine.

That’s where Holley comes in. The venerable carburetor, fuel injection and general manufacturer of all-things awesome announced earlier this year that they now have developed a true plug-and-play wiring harnesses that allows the use of its Holley HP and Dominator EFI systems on Gen III Hemi engines. This means that Holley’s EFI harness has created a solution for the main, injector, ignition coil, and drive-by-wire harnesses needed to power your Gen III Hemi up with Holley EFI control!

This tremendous step in the right direction will provide the late-model Hemi enthusiast with main, ignition coil, and drive-by-wire harnesses available for either early or late model Hemis as well. Holley notes that the injector harness is available for either USCAR or Jetronic style fuel injectors, as well. For more information regarding each harness, check out the individual product pages HERE.
